Arduino is an open-source platform used for building electronic projects. Arduino consists of both a physical programmable circuit board and a piece of software,used to write and upload computer code to the physical board.

Our group had to ensure that Arduino IDE software was downloaded on our computers, as this enabled us to send data/information to the Arduino circuit.
